Shakoor,  I think that it is the kind of negativity that you express that is causing our country to go bad.  Why can't people like you t hink positive???

Obama is the last hope for our country and I hope that  people will vote for him.  Let's pull together for once and make it work.

To the soldier in Iraq, it must feel pretty bad to be fighting over there with Hilary saying the things that she does but in her support she was first candidate to speak out about the war saying that after she is in office for six months she will start troop withdrawal.

That is great, but the next question is- Is she talking out of the side of her face like she did with the Bosina statement or is she really telling the truth.  Yes, I'm saying it Hilary lied and it definitely impacted on her credibility where I am concerned.

In response to the question "Will Barack Obama Be Used As A Scapegoat?"

Yes, he will.  He is actually being presented to the American people to distract them from the real issues by presenting them with a fake hope of recovering here in the US.

My question is does he know this and does he also know that political historians have been predicting and assassination or attempt there of a US pres for the last few years?  It happens in predictable cycles.  They expected an attempt against Bush but it didn't happen so Obama is right in line to get the next hit.

He makes a great scapegoat too.  First of all he is being presented as the first black viable presidential candidate when he is not even really black.  He is INTERRACIAL with a deadbeat black daddy.  He was raised by WHITE PEOPLE and lived his formative years in the Phillepines then grew up in Hawaii where there is not really a viable black community that reflects what the average black man has been through.
may have had a modest start but he is an elite now.  Doesn't anybody question why when America is at it worst ever we get a "black" candidate.

I believe that if Obama wins of course he will be used as a scapegoat for American's downward slide.  Historically in America whenever things are going badly they blame the blacks, minorities and immigrates for the problems.  Obama is placing himself in the ideal opportunity for this and he has to know it.  I think that the entire political system is a shame in the US.

What happened to the saying that any kid could grow up to be president.  If this were true  all of the Presidents in modern history wouldn't be millionares.  You have to be rich to be president of the US.  Only rich people run and only rich people win.  America is a country where elites rule and there is a double standard in the law and in social benefits (
they keep talking about the middle class what about Health Care for the working poor who struggle on minimum wage and lower jobs and who don't get welfare there a  are MILLIONS of Americans that fit this bill yet their needs are NOT being represented).

I hope that people notice that none of these candidates are talking are the deletion of our Constitutional civil rights in relation to the Patriot Act.

Who am I voting for?  I'm writing in  MY CREAMY PINK A$$! for President

RE:~The US President Is NOT Elected By The Populas. Who Or What Political Body Actually Elects The President?

Hello PCJH thank you for such a wonderful website. I come here often to read about what is going on in the world. I am a Political Science student studying in London.   I read today the questions and would  like to answer the one about the US Presidential Electons.

I am sorry to say that most Americans do not even know how their President is elected. They  just run out and vote because they think that it is the right thing to do and are taught to follow without asking questions.  They do not teach this in the schools in a way that Americans understand and I beleive this is why so many American presidents are elected that do not necessarily represent the best interests of the people.  They actually think that when they go to the pole that they are electing the president but he is actually elected by an entity called the Electoral College.  The votes of the American People are Popularity Votes.  They do not need to coincide in order for the president to be elected.  Also these primaries that have the American People distracted from the real issues going on in the country are also controled by delagates NOT the American people.  THe candidates are not selected by the peoples' votes but again by rich elites.  Common working class folks are cut out of the real power in the demoncratic process in America.  For this reason I only vote in local elections where my vote actually matters like for mayor senator, judges etc.

So Marriane do not blame the American People for what has happened in America.  They can do little about it.

RE~Why Did The US Presidential Candidates Wait Until They Were On The Last Leg Of Their Campaigns To Start Talking Dialoguing About The Issue Of The War and Troops?

Marriane Shippenburg

The candidates avoided this issue because it is a touchy one.  They waited so long to address it because it took the people pressuring them to do it.  This issue should have been a major part of their political campaign as this issue is a major concern of the American people.  To date we have lost over 4,000 troops.  The Iraqi people report losing 800,000 largely civilian casualties caught up in this horrific war and there seems to be no end.  When Bush (the idiot President the American people elected TWICE) got us into this war he said it would be in and out a short war, shock and awe.  Well we ended up being shocked and awed by the destruction of the Iraqi infrastructure and the BILLIONS of dollars it is costing us to rebuild that country considering that here in America people are suffering and DYING because they do not have medical care.

A lot of people think that Barrak Obama or Hilary Clinton can fix things but that is a lie. Nobody can.  WE are too deep in doo doo to get out  now.  There will be no siginficant  CHANGE for certain Americans, like the poor, homeless, mentally ill, working class etc. I wonder if people know that it is official that by 2017 there will be no more SSI and by 2040 something there will be no Social Security AT ALL.  Google it people and take a long drink of reality.

~Was  Hilary Clinton's Comment About Ducking  Bullets In Bosnia A Mistatement Or Outright Lie?

Damn Hilary I was already to vote for you when you opened your  mouth and that great lie flew out.  What were you thinking about?  Don't you realize that we live in a  highly media encroached age?  Didn't you realize that there were cameras out there that day that you got off of the plane in Bosnia.  Do you really expect people to over look the fact that another possibly bumbling idiot is trying to get into office.  Do we really need another President that doesn't know what to say out of their mouths or who makes it up as they go along.

To say that you  make a lot of statements and that is the reason why you did that is pathetic at best.  If you are talking so much that you cannot keep track of reality then you need to step down now, because this kind of thing can cause huge problems.

Finally, I've been ducking bullets for 18 months. It is NOT something that you forget, especially when you have our 12 year old daughter in tow.

Shame, with such little choices for President I'll probably not vote at all.  I'll just keep ducking these real bullets in Iraq and hope that the American people will wake up and get us the hell out of here.

GOD BLESS AMERICA...GOD HELP US
