Homeless Vet
PHILADELPHIA, PA--He gave all for his country by serving in the US Army
in Vietnam. He struggled through Delayed Stress Syndrome as a result of
what he witnessed in South East Asia. This caused him to lose his
family and all of his friends. After a his company closed Jack fell
into a deep depression and was unable to find employment. He fell
behind in his rent and was newly evicted the night that this photo was
taken. Seen here shivering under his coat and guarding his last
possessions in life, Jack is among a growing community of
homeless people (including families with children) who fight the frigid
winter temperatures by camping out in the subway tunnels under the
powerful edifice, City Hall in the City of Brotherly Love.

ALL ALONE
PHILADELPHIA, PA--A mentally ill homeless man hide his face in shame
after being
insulted by wealthy shoppers as he cried for alms. "Get a job,"
one of thme shouted. "You bum," another scorned. Obliverated by
poverty, hopelessness and the sheer cold the man cringes in anguish.
Findng him sheltered there in the former entryway of one of the city's
most prominent jewelers created
such a stark contrast that under the urging of wealthy shoppers and
neighbouring residents (of rapidly rising Center City condominiums) the
police eventually arrived urging the man to
emerge into the frigid air. He wandered away moaning that he was still
a human being a citizen with the right to walk any street in America.
That's the
ideal, but the reality is that the rich have to power to reduce
impoverished human beings to a status below that which we treat our
pets.

FIGHTING DRAGONS
CHINATOWN, LA--The fascinating gates of historic Chinatown are
captured
her by our founder during her recent travels to the west coast. Of LA,
Williams who visited and lived in Southeast Asia stated that she found
the same warmth among the peoples of Chinatown as in Kowloon, MongKok,
Hong Kong or Tsim Tsha Tsoi, or Macau.

PERFORMING FOR JUSTICE
Most people don't know it, but music runs in the Williams family. Her
brother Caesar is an accomplished self-taught musican and music teacher
and her daughter Joi is a musical composer and gituarist. Founder
Carol Williams not only sings, plays drums and keyboards, she is also a
musical composer. Pictured here she during a special appearance with
her group TANTRUM during a community block party, Williams often uses
her musical ability to spread the word of justice and humanity.

HONG KONG
The magnificant city of Hong Kong pictured from Tsm Tsha Tsoi. Hong
Kong is said to have the oldest harbor in the world. Of all the
cities that our founder visited she said that Hong Kong has the most
stark contrast between the haves and have nots. Famous for having
more Bently's per mile than any other city in the world, Williams
admitted that the impoverished areas and poor quality of life in this
city for the poor makes homelessness in America look like a day care
center. "There are people laying on the ground with sun sores all over
them. They swelter in 115 degree heat and that's in the shade. It
breaks my heart to see them begging for a drink of water from these
wealthy tourist who just seem to step over them. It makes me even more
committed to my mission to help people reconnect with their humanity. I
mean, this isn't normal. This is a result of improper conditioning by
the system. All babies and young children have caring as a natural part
of their psyche. They learn to be calloused just like they learn to be
racial prejudiced. These people need a Red Panther Party over
here," Williams said. Our founder and her family took many photos
that depicted the condititons but they were confiscated during
photo processing .

STAR FERRY
The famous Star Ferry (yes, the same one that Bruce Lee rode in Enter
The Dragon) is pictured here with the backdrop on the city of Hong
Kong. One of the most exciting things that Williams said that she
did while traveling in this part of the world was take the trip from
Tsm Tsha Tsoi to Hong Kong. "At one point you are in the middle
of the Red Sea, I'm talking about open water you know? I swim and I
love it, but I admit that I was intimidated and engulfed by the whole
experience, while regular riders yawned and dosed during the entire
trip.

FROM NORTH PHILLY TO CHINA
PCJH Founder (center) takes a moment to pause for family photo with
daughter, Joi (then 11 years old) and husband James (on the
right). Here the family was preparing to visit the country of
Macau. Pictured in the distance is the magnificant city of Hong Kong.
It took 24 hours to arrive in China. Crossing the time barrier, the
family actually arrived the day before they left. Can you spell "Jet
Lag."
