Is my hair good or bad?

If it's nappy then your supposed to feel sad
I see add after add with
Straight, and long flowing hair showing me
That what I have is considered bad
Tame those napps and smooth them down
So you can have a glorious crown
But what is so glorious about hating myself?
When I know that I have a wealth of
Beautiful curls
Ringlets and Black pearls
All tapering down the nape of my neck
I have burned, and pressed myself into a scarlet mess
Trying to change my hair into the perfect tress
Only to realize that what God has given me, and that
I'm blessed
I am nappy headed
Nappy is beautiful, and it is me
I rejoice in heritage
And hope to make my ancestors proud
Love yourself for who you are
Nappy or not
We are all God's creations
And beauty is in us all
