The Real Legacy of the 9-11 Commission
“The 9/11 Commission dissolved Monday, leaving behind the legacy of a best-selling history of the worst terrorist attack in U.S. history, some chairs shuffled in Washington's bureaucracy, and a debate over its own effectiveness. At their farewell meeting, commissioners released a report card giving the government failing grades for its actions to prevent another attack like the one on Sept. 11, 2001. And although the commissioners said they aren't happy with their legacy, the panel did give Americans a glimpse of what Washington's secret government does and how the CIA spends its $40 billion budget. It scored one major bureaucratic victory by pushing for the creation of a czar to oversee the activities of all federal intelligence agencies _ a post currently occupied by Director of National Intelligence John Negroponte. The 9-11 Commission has finally dissolved having done its job admirably whitewash the real deal about 9-11. George W Bu$h and his NeoConartist cabal are safe having been cleared of any culpability or direct involvement in either the planning, execution or the failure to prevent the “terrorist attacks” which occurred on September 11, 2001. The real legacy of the 9-11 Commission is one of serious conflicts of interest by insiders with direct or indirect connections to the oil and airline industries or former legislative branch members working assiduously to cover up the fact the US government was repeatedly warned by foreign governments such as France, Germany Israel Egypt and Morocco that something big and deadly was being planned for the week of September 10, 2001! The members of the Commission had their marching orders and agenda: damage control for the Bu$h administration and use 9-11 to further the NWO domestic agenda to usher in a police state in AmeriKKKa. Many of the very people who lobbied for an investigative commission were appalled at the make up of the 9-11 Commission. “Those questions about airline security are critical to the investigation. But, now comes a serious allegation: that the Sept. 11 commission is stacked with members tied directly to the airline industry. ‘Here we’ve got the most important event in America in the past 50 years, the most horrible thing that's happened to Americans, and yet we pick a bunch of people who are connected to the very people who are at the center of the question of who's at fault,’ says Terry Brunner, a former federal prosecutor who now runs the Aviation Integrity Project in Chicago. ‘It's ridiculous.’ Brunner checked out the commissioners and discovered that out of 10, at least six represent the very companies they're now investigating. e says they are: ‘Fred Fielding, Spirit Airlines, United Airlines; Slade Gordon represents Delta Airlines; Sen. Max Cleland – $300,000 from the airline industry; Jim Thompson represents American Airlines; Richard BenVinesta represents Boeing and United Airlines; and Rep. Since that is the home country for most of the alleged 9/11 hijackers, and since the Bush family has close business ties to Saudi elites, many people would think that this is already a serious conflict of interest.” http://www.911truth.org/article.php?story=20040527201054793. Commission Vice Chairman Lee Hamilton a former US Congressman has a history of protecting the status quo, “Kean's vice-chair, Lee Hamilton, was the chairman in the 1980s of the House Select Committee on Iran/Contra. Afterwards, he told PBS Frontline that he didn't wish to indict Reagan or Bush, because he didn't think it would be "good for the country," although a wealth of evidence showed that Reagan and Bush authorized illegal arms shipments to Iran in 1985. Then Chairman Hamilton, a Democrat, was influenced by heavy political pressure from a hawkish fellow congressman from Wyoming by the name of Dick Cheney.” http://www.911truth.org/article.php?story=20040527201054793. Keep in mind Bu$h initially opposed any investigation into 9-11 but was forced to relent due to public pressure brought by families of victims of 9-11! So Bu$h’s first choice to head the Commission was the notorious war criminal Henry Kissinger! After refusing to disclose his personal finances and connections to corporations and firms doing business in the “Middle East” and the ruling elites Kissinger withdrew his name from consideration. The situation went downhill from there. The only good that came out of the Commission report was their insistence Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with 9-11 which undercut one of Bu$h’s reasons for invading Iraq! The 9-11 Commission published what turned out to be a best selling book on its “investigation”, a probe that if held up to serious critique and scrutiny would seem superficial at best. Subsequent allegations of an intelligence operation called Operation Able Danger seriously expose the selective shallowness of the 9-11 Commission’s investigation, which is why the Commission is working feverishly to discredit it. The Commission’s solution to the “intelligence failures” of 9-11 was to call for a unified intelligence “Czar” (what is the media’s fascination with this word?) which would coordinate all intelligence gathering and dissemination. What they did was set the stage for massive abuses by the newly established secret police similar to what the nation experienced during the late ‘60's and early ‘70's under the FBI’s COINTELPRO and the CIA’s Operation Chaos only on a coordinated unified basis!! Now their job is to further the call for an increased police sate. The new intelligence Czar is John Negroponte a retread from the Reagan-Bu$h administration who served as ambassador to Honduras during the era of death squads and US militarization of Latin America of which Iran-Contra were part! With Bu$h’s credibility and popularity in the toilet, the ruling elites need another voice to further their agenda. They already have the Democratic Party sycophants resisting their own constituents’ calls for AmeriKKKan troop withdrawal from Iraq so it would be a bit much for them to also openly promote the Nazification of AmeriKKKa under the guise of protecting the nation from future terrorists attacks. Hence the latest issuance of dire warnings from the Kean Commission. What better way to rachet up the creation of a police state in the name of security than by predicting more 9-11s and critiquing the federal government’s failure to act on their previous recommendations. The ol’ problem-reaction-solution con game continues. AmeriKKKa’s ruling elites and their government puppets’ policies create antagonism, animus and hatred against AmeriKKKa in the world, the media hypes bogus boogeymen like Osama bin-Laden , 9-11 is executed, a 9-11 Commission is created to cover up the government’s complicity in 9-11 or at the very least its’ massive malfeasance, they elevate the fear level by predicting more terrorist attacks in the future and they offer “solutions” that will result in massive abuses of power and turn AmeriKKKa into a full fledged police state.
